The Dream Toys hot list for 2009 to be announced on 28th October 2009 is compiled by the Toy Retailers Association and is the official prediction of the toys and games industry of what are likely to be the most popular children’s games at Christmas time. The list, which is used by retailers, wholesalers and the press to predict the best selling toy in each category is considered to be the authoritative list and signals the beginning of the Christmas shopping season for most traditional and on-line retailers.
Dream Dozen
The Toy Retailers Association’s Dream Toys is the industries official prediction of Christmas best-sellers and includes toys and games for boys and girls priced at £50 or under from all the leading toy manufacturers. This years list has a definite leaning towards action and activities with futuristic games for the boys and traditional role-play and activity gifts for the girls.
